Agriculture produces vast amounts of waste, much of which remains underutilized, posing threats to food security and envi- ronmental stability. With growing emphasis on sustainable prac- tices and the circular economy, effective biowaste management has gained significant traction. Agro-residues hold potential ap- plications in agronomy, chemical production, and food processing industries, offering opportunities for innovative product develop- ment. This review elaborates on various agricultural waste types, emphasizing the enzymatic approaches to convert these residues into value-added products. It explores the production of bioen- ergy, such as biogas, and highlights advancements in bioconver- sion technologies for future sustainability. The integration of these technologies into existing waste management practices can help address pressing global challenges.
